Romans 2.1-11 Mercy

Therefore you have no excuse, everyone of you who passes judgment, for in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things...But do you suppose this, O man, when you pass judgment on those who practice such things and do the same yourself, that you will escape the judgment of God? Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?...There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek, but glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God.Romans 2:1‭-‬11 NASB
Jesus said, "Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." (Matt 7:1,2)

It is not a contradiction to condemn certain acts as sin, without condemning the sinner.

What we have to remember is that God is full of mercy. We can be tolerant of sinners without approving their sinful lifestyle because God was tolerant with us when we were sinners. It was the kindness and tolerance and patience of God that led us to repentance. If we go by the name of Christian, then we need to show the same kindness and tolerance and patience to the people of the world, without compromising the truth, even as we pray for God's mercy and salvation over them.

If they choose to reject the message of Christ then they will be judged, not by us, but by God. If they choose to accept Christ, then they will receive glory and honor and peace from God.
